Who we are

Exit Valor is an independent business value advisory. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Exit Valor Limited is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to help you. That includes:

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
• Business information you enter into the Value Simulation, such as revenue, earnings, customer concentration, and answers about how your business operates.
• Messages you send to our assistant or to us directly.
• Technical data created automatically when you visit, such as basic server logs needed to run and secure the site.

How we use your information

• To produce your assessment and show you your results.
• To email you a summary of your results and respond to your enquiry.
• To arrange and hold a conversation with you if you ask for one.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our service.

Legal basis

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit the Value Simulation or contact us, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers that process data on our behalf:

• Supabase, to securely store your submission.
• Resend, to deliver your results and our replies by email.
• Calendly, if you book a call with us.
• Anthropic, which powers the on-site assistant.

Each provider is bound to use your data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, respond to your enquiry, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email advisory@exitvalor.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

We aim to keep the site light. We use only the cookies necessary to run it. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
